Container pressurization
Pressurization of bottles and cans containing non-carbonated beverages consists of increasing the strength of a bottle by adding a drop of liquid nitrogen into the headspace of the container before it is capped and sealed. Once closed, the nitrogen vaporizes, which creates a positive pressure inside the container and the bottle becomes much more rigid.
