solidite-2.png?itok=aoRu_KyJWhen you join our team, you become part of a robust multinational organization that has grown by leaps and bounds since its foundation over 100 years ago.
We find strength in our commitment to innovation and sustainable development, in our employees’ expertise, in our diverse clientele and markets across the world and in an experienced management team with strong ethics and governance.

  • Case in point: Our commitment to sustainable development

Air Liquide Canada is taking part in an innovative pilot project launched by the Quebec government to encourage the use of green energy to fuel consumer cars and trucks. In collaboration  with Air Liquide Canada, Hydro-Quebec, Gaz Métro, La Coop fédérée, Toyota Canada and L'Association québécoise du propane, multi-fuel service stations will be installed in four Quebec regions by 2018.

Safety first

icone_securite.png?itok=AzKyrq_lAt Air Liquide Canada, safety is in our DNA. We put every effort into making sure that our employees, our customers and our products are safe, as shown by our commitment to achieving ''zero accidents'' in the workplace.

  • Case in point: Safe driver award program

We want our Air Liquide drivers to drive safely not just to protect themselves and others on the road, but also to make sure that they return safely to their families at the end of the day. That’s why we created the Safe driver award program over 15 years ago to recognize and reward ALC drivers who adopt safe driving habits.

  • Case in point: Emergency response teams

The safety and well-being of our employees, our customers and the communities we are a part of is crucial. That's why we have emergency response teams in place across the country, ready to intervene quickly and efficiently in case of accidents or leaks occurring outside our premises.

Collaboration is key

icone_collaboration.png?itok=7xtgAMEvWe strongly believe in the power of collaboration, as it is key to a dynamic and stimulating work environment. In fact, it's part of our work culture. It allows us to share knowledge between teams and colleagues, to help advance projects, to be innovative and to learn from one another. Our digital tools are also a great way to support collaboration across the globe.

  • Case in point: Google Apps and Google +

We make collaboration easier by using Google Apps, a mobile, collaborative office productivity suite. We created Google+ communities within the Air Liquide Group that allow us to share information and knowledge on a particular topic with all employees of the Group and to find answers from colleagues across continents.

  • Case in point: Helping colleagues in need

In the spring of 2016, a wildfire swept through the Fort McMurray municipality, in northern Alberta, burning thousands of homes and buildings and leaving hundreds of residents homeless. In a show of solidarity, fundraising activities were organized by Air Liquide employees to raise funds and come to the aid of our Fort McMurray colleagues and their families who were affected by the fire.

Progression is growth

icone_progression.png?itok=OhBTJWuMAt Air Liquide Canada, we offer you much more than a job; we help you find a career that will ideally suit your skills, your experience and your ambition. Our employees are offered many professional and career-development opportunities, both at the national and international level.

  • Case in point: the story of George Bekiaris

George Bekiaris started his career at Air Liquide Canada as a chemical engineer in 2006. He enrolled in the ALLEX program, a special two-year rotational HR program that introduces new engineers to all facets of the company. Thanks to this program, George experienced a variety of mandates and projects in different markets and activity sectors, constantly taking on new challenges and opportunities. Once the two-year program was over, George rose through the ranks of Air Liquide Canada, became Regional Sales Manager in Edmonton for a period of two years and is now Manager, CO2 Plants & Onsite Operations.

''The ALLEX program paved the way to professional success. I have been able to go on a journey of excellence within a multinational that is constantly evolving!''.
